We are delivering a critical expansion to the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation Water Treatment Plant — essential drinking-water infrastructure serving the community. The project adds secure chemical storage capacity and modern supporting systems while keeping the entire water treatment plant in continuous operation.
This is a live-plant project on First Nation land that demands exceptional coordination. Every phase is carefully sequenced with community leadership, operations staff, and our team to ensure zero service interruptions, full environmental protection, and respect for cultural and operational priorities.
Scope of Work Highlights
- Construction of a new 61 m² dedicated chemical storage building addition
- Process equipment upgrades at the Water Treatment Plant and Pumphouse No. 3
- Complete mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and drainage system improvements
- Site restoration with gravel, asphalt paving, and concrete surfaces
Scheduled for completion in 2026, this upgrade will provide the community with expanded, safer chemical storage and enhanced plant reliability for years to come.
