We’re excited to share one of our latest design-build successes: the renovation of the Margaret Dunn Library in Caledon, Ontario. Ritestart Limited led the design, engineering, and construction efforts to reimagine this beloved community space. Our mission was clear—create a dynamic makerspace that promotes creativity, innovation, and collaboration, while offering access to cutting-edge tools and technology.
One of the most impressive additions is the new state-of-the-art recording studio. It features premium microphones, mixing consoles, monitors, and professional-grade soundproofing. As a result, users can produce high-quality podcasts, music, and videos with ease. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced content creator, the space delivers an immersive multimedia experience.
In addition, we developed flexible coworking and meeting areas. These zones feature movable furniture and partitions, making them easily adaptable to various uses. Moreover, they include access to advanced tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, and digital fabrication equipment. These features empower users to bring ideas to life, test concepts, and prototype new products on-site.
Overall, the transformation of the Margaret Dunn Library into a modern makerspace showcases our passion for building spaces that spark imagination. At Ritestart, we believe in creating environments that foster learning, creativity, and collaboration. We’re proud of the outcome and look forward to more projects that help communities thrive.
