We are thrilled to showcase one of our recent design-build projects, the Margaret Dunn Library renovation in Caledon, ON. Ritestart Limited was entrusted with the task of designing, engineering, and renovating this esteemed institution, and we are proud to share the remarkable transformation that took place. The goal for the project was to create a dynamic makerspace that would foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration, while providing access to cutting-edge technology and equipment. To achieve this vision, we implemented various enhancements throughout the library.

A standout feature of the renovated library is the state-of-the-art recording studio. Equipped with top-of-the-line microphones, mixing consoles, monitors, and soundproofing materials, this studio empowers users to produce high-quality audio and video content. Whether it’s recording podcasts, creating music, or shooting videos, the studio offers an immersive experience for multimedia enthusiasts. Moreover, we have created versatile meeting and coworking spaces. These areas were carefully designed to be flexible and adaptable, featuring movable furniture and partitions. Equipped with modern technology tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, and other digital fabrication equipment, these spaces enable users to bring their ideas to life and prototype innovative products.

The transformation of the Margaret Dunn Library into a vibrant makerspace reflects our commitment to creating spaces that inspire and facilitate creativity, innovation, and collaboration. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to be a part of this remarkable project, and we look forward to continuing our journey of transforming spaces into hubs of imagination and ingenuity.
