We are delivering a critical disinfection upgrade to the Hastings Wastewater Treatment Facility — essential municipal wastewater infrastructure that protects public health and the environment. This project centers on the construction, installation, commissioning, and performance testing of a new UV disinfection system and dedicated building to treat final effluent, ensuring cleaner discharge and full regulatory compliance.

This is a live-plant project that demands exceptional coordination and planning. We are working hand-in-hand with Municipality operations staff to maintain continuous treatment processes at all times, with carefully sequenced shutdowns, 24/7 monitoring of temporary systems, and constant communication to prevent any disruption to wastewater service or environmental performance.

Project Scope Highlights

  • Construction of a new UV disinfection building
  • Supply and installation of a complete UV disinfection system
  • All associated civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works
  • Integration with existing plant processes and controls
  • Full commissioning, performance testing, and operator training
  • Site restoration and final handover

This upgrade represents a major investment in reliable, modern wastewater infrastructure for the Trent Hills community. By combining strong coordination with live-plant expertise, we are ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, and with zero unplanned interruptions.

Scheduled for completion in 2026, this project highlights our proven ability to deliver complex water and wastewater upgrades where reliability, safety, and minimal downtime are non-negotiable.
